If you've looked at the 3D designs part of the website, you'll notice that a couple of the pictures had mentioned of tutorials from Maxon. Thing is, Maxon creates a program called Cinema 4D which I use to create those images. This is where you'll find the amazing program that I use.

Discreet creates quite a few progams that are 3d based, like most of the things on this website. The programs that they offer take quite some time to understand and learn. 3ds max is the standard program when it comes to game designing. Try out their trial version and see the power of 3ds max.

Alias

Alias delivers one of the most powerful 3d designing programs available on the market. It is remarkably different to use, and immensly hard to master. If you plan to start with Alias Maya, make sure you have a dedication and love for 3d designing.

Softimage

Softimage has recently come onto the stage in gaming with their XSI program. Used in the ever so popular Half Life 2, we see that it has future for itself, and that it is one of the more intensive programs out there. Check them out.
